A little film about me

Here is a selection of my illustrations, inspired from adventures across Scotland and further afield with my sketchbook. The landscape and wildlife of places I visit is regularly the raw inspiration for the pictures I create. You may recognise some of the landscapes in my gallery, but they are likely to look quite different from the actual place you might visit! I use a variety of materials to create my visual world and really enjoy mixing traditional mark making techniques with modern digital practices.

In 2015 I graduated from the University of Cumbria with a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Graphic Design and was awarded the Universities' inaugural Derwent Prize for Excellence. This year (2020) I completed an MA Creative Practice (Distinction).

I am always beavering away in my studio so it's worth popping back from time to time to see my latest work. To see what I'm up to this month visit my Newsroom.

My prints, tea towels and self published books are available to buy through my website. A selection of my prints and greetings cards are also available at the following places: The Whitehouse Gallery in Kirkcudbright, Thomas Tosh in Thornhill, Loch Arthur near Dumfries, the Flat Cat Gallery in Lauder, Scottish Borders, 17Reasons in Moffat and North York Moors National Park visitor centre.

Thanks for dropping by.
